Although a bit worried about just how wet we were going to get at the Joust Mediaeval Festival at Berkeley Medieval Castle we still went along and had a thoroughly good time, stayed there for more than 7 hours. Much nicer than a trip to the Harbour festival yesterday which despite having much better weather was just frighteningly crowded, at points you just couldn't move.
So if you're free next weekend 30-31st July pop along to Berkeley, the organic beef rolls are well worth a visit.
