You can only play mp3s for 10 minutes on a good day before they stutter and the DVD-Rom only makes guest apperances - the CD/RW has given up the ghost entirely.
Another sign is when the games you really wanted to play last year but couldn't because your PC wasn't up to scratch are now in the cheap section of the shops e.g. HL2 and City of Heroes
Even more of a shock was when I realised the next version of Civilization is due out within the month, and I won't be able to play that. Equally shocking was that this was a surprise to me, how could I not know there was a new version of Civ, I know Civ3 was a dissapointment(IMO) but still. Luckily Apolyton is still there and they naturally have a Civ4 site, so I could rapidly get up to speed. Isn't it nice when you "rediscover" old web site "friends"
Of course the real problem is if I get a new PC I'll have so many games that I must play I'll get into real trouble at home.
